The British arrived to colonize the U.S. for a long time ago, and (as in Brazil) were faced with the Indians. The natives (as in Brazil) were impressed by the colonizers and are made available to them, teaching the cultivation of wheat and rye. The colonistsloved bastards, and (as in Brazil) explored the indigenous wisdom and manpower place to make lots of money. Over time, all that indiazada was no longer needed, then (as in Brazil)settlers decimated the Indians. More had a party before that.
The Brazilian ambassador Nabuco, participating in Washington, the celebration of National Day of Thanksgiving, spoke in prophetic tone, "I wish that all mankind will unite in one day, thanks to a universal God." These words movedconsciences in Brazil. Under President Eurico Gaspar Dutra, Congress passed Law 781, which enshrined the last Thursday of November as the National Day of Thanksgiving.
